OVERHEAD FEED BINS
HMI overhead feed bins are available in capacities from 8 to 35 tons. All overhead bins are degreased and steam cleaned prior to priming and painting to ensure an oil and rust-free surface. Our standard overhead feed bins are equipped with a double-vented airflow system, ground control for the top lid, handrails, a ladder, catwalk, and an epoxy primer lining inside. Dividers can be added to our 30-ton bins to allow the storage of multiple feed products within the same unit. Our 8 and 12-ton bins have 4” legs and runners, while all other sizes have 6” legs and runners.
Our round overhead feed bins are constructed with 10 gauge steel and our square bins are made with 12 gauge steel. We also build low clearance smooth wall grain silos for seed storage, available in capacities from 1,000 to 2,500 bushels. We recommend placing your overhead feed bin or smooth wall silo on a level gravel or concrete pad.
ROUND OVERHEAD FEED BINS
Our round feed bins come in 20, 30, or 35-ton capacities constructed with 10 gauge steel. We also make a 30 ton 3/16” bin, which is our heavy-duty big boy! Our capacities are calculated at 40 lbs/cu ft, please check with your feed distributor to verify weight and capacity needs.
SQUARE OVERHEAD FEED BINS
Our square overhead feed bins come in capacities of 8 ton, 12 ton, 18 ton, 30 ton, and 35 ton and are constructed with 12 gauge steel.
